It turns out that British people have really weird taste buds.
Tesco, a supermarket in Britain, is being heavily mocked on social media for launching their newest (and maybe weirdest) potato chip flavor – Prosecco and Elderberry. Can you say disgusting?
One Twitter user took a photo of the chips and said, “Go home, Tesco. You’re drunk.”
The packaging on the chips hilariously reads, “Sweet, delicately fragrant elderberry with the festive fizz of Prosecco.” Okay guys, this sounds like a really good cocktail, but a potato chip with fizz? Thanks, but no thanks.
