Tomatoes contain vitamin C and beta carotene. Vitamin C prevents infections, like gum disease, for instance. It also prevents cardiovascular disease and skin wrinkling.

Almond butter has vitamin E, as well as magnesium, which is good for your metabolism. Look for the almond butters that are minimally processed, without added preservatives or additives.

If you’re craving a cookie, oatmeal raisin is probably the best choice, since it’s a good source of fiber and carbohydrates, helping to boost the immune system and keep the stomach full for a long time.
